Michelle Lopez
Michelle Lopez is a graduate of the Academy for Advanced Academics, Class of 2018. She went on to attend the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Pathogenesis. She then became a Double Gator by completing her Master’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science with a concentration in medical microbiology and biochemistry.
In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Michelle serves as the Vice President of the SAS & AA Alumni Association, where she helps foster community, support alumni engagement, and strengthen connections between current students and graduates.
She currently works in emergency medical services and as a tutor at the Center for Academic Success at Florida International University, where she continues to share her passion for science and mentorship.
